Advanced Classes
Don't be intimidated by the word "Advanced". My advanced classes are designed primarily for the already permitted CCW license holder. You don't have to have a permit to attend, only shooting experience. However, they are not designed for the beginner shooter. Some classes require additional equipment, physical abilities, and abnormal movements. Contact me if you need additional information.
Concealed Carry Level 1
This course is the next step in your concealed
carry cache! Most CCW
qualification courses do not include drawing from a holster, yet
alone drawing from concealment.
I start off each class with a refresher on Ohio CHL law and
mental mindset in a relaxed classroom environment.
We then move out doors to work on carry concealed
fundamentals. Dry fire
drills and basic draw and shoot maneuvers.

Concealed Carry Level 2
Increasing your ability to defend yourself and your family. Level 2 takes the fundamentals from level 1 and builds on them in a scenario based shooting environment. Crawl, walk, run is the key to success in this course. We will start off with dry fire drills, work on shooting while moving, and concluded with reaction based scenarios for real world encounters.

Advanced Shotgun
This course is designed to enhance the shotgun users abilities. We will discuses shooting fundamentals, reloading, tactical applications, modifications, personal defense use, and the shotguns inabilities. There will be both classroom and range time.

1 Day Carbine
This is an aggressive class. Students will be required to shoot on the move, bend, twist, and kneel while shooting. Preresiquite: Carbine familiarization equivalent, prior military or law enforcement training with M16/AR15 or variant weapon systems.

Student requirements: Eye/ear protection, carbine (5.56/223 or smaller caliber and all pistol calibers), at least 2 carbine magazines, rifle sling, handgun, handgun holster, at least 2 handgun magazine/speed loaders.
Recommended equipment: Additional magazines/speed loaders, rain gear, knee/elbow pads, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, hydration system, water, and dress appropriately out door range.
Ammunition Required: Rifle & pistol rounds will vary

Personal Protection In The Home
This is an eight-hour course. Students
should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition.
Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for
home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and
the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued
opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA
Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook, NRA
Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship
Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate. This
course can encompass handgun, shotgun, or long gun use.
*The NRA Basic Personal Protection In
The Home Course participants must be law abiding, adults, and
experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic
skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm,
and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this
course. Proof of shooting experience can be one of the following:
NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA FIRST Steps Course
Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card,
military DD 214 with pistol qualification, or passing the Pre-Course
Assessment.
